Tuna's 2019 Main Event Deep Run

Hello Friends,

Early this month I had the time of my life as I went pretty deep in the 2019 WSOP Main Event. Lots of my friends and family have been asking about the experience. I’ve been overwhelmed by the number of people that have reached out to me to offer congratulations. I’m amazed by the genuine excitement of something I love to do. I appreciated the encouragement and rooting during this journey. I’ve never realized what an accomplishment this experience was for me until I really busted. Although it started to hit me when I started Day 6. I remember looking up a the clock as it read, 106 players left out of 8500+. This is when it was getting real. I was now playing for life-changing money. Although I was never nervous or anxious throughout, it as just more of the same, just playing poker. Throughout the tournament, I knew what had to be done. My poker experience shined through. Unfortunately, I lost a coin flip to get me back into the thick of things. I was disappointed at first but very happy with the result. It's an experience that can never be taken away.

Since I returned back to New York, I’ve been bombarded with all the love anyone can ask for. I want to say a huge thank you for the support as it was truly inspirational to me.

Below is an interview I did with Poker Zoo by Chris Murray aka Persuadeo. During this interview, you can hear me ramble on and on, talked about my WSOP Main Event experience, break down some interesting and fun hands, talked poker strategy and more. One thing is evident you can see the passion I have for this game.

It’s a long interview, If you have 90 minutes of free time, grab a coffee and have a listen. Enjoy!!
